In June 2024, Boris Stepanov participated in the Diaghilev Festival in Perm. He performed the solo part in J. S. Bach's Matthäus-Passion and the part of Tamino in a premiere of Mozart's Die Zauberflöte.
Matthäus-Passion was performed by musicAeterna orchestra and choir and the A. S. Ponomarev Vesna Children Choir and conducted by Teodor Currentzis.
Die Zauberflöte was presented in Nina Vorobyova's production. musicAeterna orchestra and choir were conducted by the musical director of the performance, Eugeny Vorobyov.
